COCONUT WATER / AIR NYIOR / MADAFU

Here is some information about Coconut Water:

'It's a natural isotonic beverage, with the same level of electrolytic balance as we have in our blood. It's the fluid of life, so to speak.'

During the Pacific War of 1941-45, both sides in the conflict regularly used coconut water - siphoned directly from the nut - to give emergency plasma transfusions to wounded soldiers.

Risda To Introduce New Rubber Clone

BENTONG, Dec 15  09  |  Bernama

-- Risda is to introduce a new rubber clone for replanting which can produce a higher yield and better quality latex as well as lengthen the life span of the trees.

Risda deputy director-general (development) Datuk Ali Nordin Wahiddudin said Tuesday the new clone could produce between 2,600 kg and 3,000 kg of latex per hectare.

"This will give a lucrative income for rubber smallholders due to the high price of rubber in the market now," he said at the launch of a Risda replanting event in Kampung Troh, here. The event was officiated by Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob.

The panel of speakers will comprise Tun Musa Hitam, chairman of the Eminent Persons Group on the Charter, and ambassadors Rosario G. Manalo and Tommy Koh, chairpersons of the High-Level Task Force on the Drafting of the Charter.

The condition of the people during disorder, and advice against oppression and unlawful earning

A sermon from Nahjul Balagha:

I praise Allah and seek His help from (what led to the) punishment of Satan and his deceitful acts, and (l seek His) protection from Satan's traps and waylayings. I stand witness that there is no god but Allah and I stand witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) and his chosen and his selected one. Muhammad's (p.b.u.h.a.h.p.) distinction cannot be paralleled nor can his loss be made good. Populated places were brightened through him when previously there was dark misguidance, overpowering ignorance and rude habits, and people regarded unlawful as lawful, humiliated the man of wisdom, passed lives when there were no prophets and died as unbelievers.

You, O' people of Arabia, will be victims of calamities which have come near. You should avoid the intoxication of wealth, fear the disasters of chastisement, keep steadfast in the darkness and crookedness of mischief when its hidden nature discloses itself, its secrets become manifest and its axis and the pivot of its rotation gain strength. It begins in imperceptible stages but develops into great hideousness. Its youth is like the youth of an adolescent and its marks are like the marks of beating by stone.

Aku bimbang, khuatir

Aku sungguh bimbang sekali
bahawa umat kita tidak akan bangkit lagi
bukan kerana tiada pemimpin berwibawa di setiap bidang
buan kerana pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak cemerlang
bukan kerana suasana politik yang tidak aman
bukan kerana rakyat jelata malas berusaha siang malam
